Had to use

I just loved this stamp set when I saw it first available in June, but I didn't buy it then. I kept thinking why would I need an animal set? I don't have small children, but finally I saw enough different cards that had used it that I capitulated and purchased it recently. I love elephants; after cats, they are my favorite animal. This was a card that I just played around with. It might be a bit busy, but I decided I liked it. I am really liking the new colors too. I wasn't sure at first, but I'm liking the bolder hues. I tried to stamp the elephant in Rich Razzleberry, but did not like how it was turning out. So out came the Basic Grey. I mean elephants are gray are they not?.

Thanks for visiting my blog today, Kate. You were the first one to give me a "heads up" on my mention on Nichole's blog. You could've knocked me over with a feather!

Cute birthday card here. I really need to invest in some stamps suitable for kid's cards that could also cross over to adult cards with the right colors and sentiments. Thanks for the encouragement to do so! (And, thanks for adding my blog to your list, too!) All the best to you with your new papercraft blog!!
